The position is part of an engineering team developing automated document retrieval, AI-powered extraction, and portfolio analytics capabilities.
Who you are
- You have 10+ years of engineering experience with a recent focus on production-grade AI systems.
- Your experience includes LLMs, agents, evaluation systems, or data extraction and normalization pipelines.
- Strong Python skills are required.
- Experience shipping reliable ML features to real users, particularly in data-heavy or fintech environments, is highly valued.
- Open-source contributions are a bonus.
- You are proactive, adaptable, customer-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership.
What you will do
- Build and own core AI/ML systems and agentic workflows for automated document retrieval from private portals.
- Develop extraction and normalization engines for complex PDFs, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Create intelligent validation with full audit trails and pipelines for accurate structured insights.
- Shape AI strategy, model choices, evaluation frameworks, and product direction.
- Work with clients on pitches, feature design, and feedback collection.
- Champion secure, robust, scalable engineering practices and mentor future team members.
Compensation and benefits
- The compensation range is $230K–$280K and includes equity.
- Benefits include 401k matching, healthcare insurance, and unlimited paid time off.
