The role combines creative design with technical execution and includes conventional and experimental digital experiences.
Accountabilities
- Design user interfaces and experiences that balance usability, aesthetics, and technical feasibility.
- Translate briefs and product requirements into user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and polished experiences.
- Create interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate behavior, interactions, and transitions.
- Maintain visual design systems covering grids, spacing, typography, hierarchy, and responsive layouts.
- Use AI-powered tools for ideation, exploration, and rapid prototyping.
- Collaborate with developers to support accurate and practical implementation.
- Present concepts and design rationale to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Own projects from concept through delivery and solve design problems creatively.
- Organize documentation and workflows across distributed teams.
- Contribute to immersive websites, animations, micro-interactions, and other experimental experiences.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional UI/UX, product, digital, or comparable senior design experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX capability, visual quality, and creative range.
- Advanced Figma proficiency, including interactive prototyping.
- Strong UI/UX, usability, information architecture, responsive design, and accessibility knowledge.
- Excellent visual design skills in grids, spacing, typography, composition, and layout.
- Experience working with developers or technical teams.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Motion design, UI animation, 3D assets, mobile applications, e-commerce, AI workflows, and Adobe Creative Suite are beneficial.
Workplace and schedule
- The position is fully remote and based in the United Arab Emirates.
- Working hours are aligned with 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM AEST, Brisbane/GMT+10.
- Candidates must provide a suitable computer, reliable high-speed internet, and a professional remote working environment.
Employment terms
- The position is full-time with a fixed employment term.
- The partner company provides a Figma subscription.
