Sr. Software Engineer (.NET Full stack Developer)

Role Overview

Accountabilities

• Design and implement event-driven microservices and APIs using .NET Core and C#.
• Build full-stack features with React on the front end and .NET and Azure services on the backend.
• Develop consumer-driven APIs using API-first design principles and scalable integration patterns.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leads on robust technical solutions.
• Break down epics and user stories into manageable, testable development tasks.
• Produce secure, maintainable code supported by unit and integration testing.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance applications and distributed backend services.
• Work with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Adapt to changing requirements and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of full-stack software development experience with C#/.NET Core and React.
• Advanced knowledge of RESTful APIs, API-first development, and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or comparable event-streaming technologies.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including API Management, Key Vault, and cloud-native deployments.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience with ArgoCD or a similar GitOps deployment platform.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery workflows.
• Experience with distributed-system orchestration and data transformations is preferred; Blazor exposure is a plus.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.

Contract and Start

• The position is a 12-month full-time contract.
• The expected start date is ASAP.

Work Arrangement

• The position is remote.
