Role Summary
Design and program small modules, large components, features, or complete feature areas.
Work independently while contributing to the immediate team and collaborating across other teams.
Provide technical leadership in a fast-paced Agile software development environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify work scope, estimate effort, and justify estimates with facts.
- Participate in technical discussions, technical designs, and whiteboard presentations.
- Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, and code quality automation.
- Understand the product, its modules, and relationships while specializing in an assigned component.
- Drive design reviews, define code-module interfaces, and apply existing technologies to designs.
- Implement core data structures and algorithms using a programming language.
- Work with Product Line Leaders to understand product requirements and vision.
Required Qualifications
- At least six years of professional experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM major is required for roles outside the USA, with advanced experience.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design, software design patterns, and C# coding principles.
- Hands-on experience with web services, REST, .NET, and SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on web development experience with React or Angular is required; React is preferred.
- Understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle is required.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in core data structures and algorithms with implementation ability.
- Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to articulate technical topics.
- AWS experience is a plus.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Work effectively with minimal supervision and communicate confidently with senior leadership.
- Work well with global teams, including flexibility across time zones.
- Provide oversight and mentor team members, with the ability to delegate work effectively.
