Role Overview
Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC for MEP contracting projects in the UAE.
The role requires experience delivering HVAC systems for high-rise buildings, villas, residential projects, and commercial projects in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and site execution is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC design, execution, and project management for MEP contracting works.
- Handle HVAC design review, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Perform heat load calculations, equipment selection, and duct and pipe sizing.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards, including Dubai Municipality and DEWA.
- Manage site activities, supervise installation teams, and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project progress, cost control, and timely delivery.
- Prepare method statements, RFIs, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in MEP projects.
- Preferred experience with Emaar and Expo projects.
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and approvals.
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
- Immediate availability is required.
- A UAE driving license is required.
