Role Overview
Join a globally distributed engineering team transforming how modern infrastructure is built, operated, and automated.
Develop open source software for DevOps workflows across bare-metal systems, private clouds, Kubernetes, and high-performance computing.
Work with Python and Go while contributing across Linux networking, storage, virtualization, and containers.
Accountabilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver open source operations software using Python and Golang.
- Build infrastructure for monitoring, alerting, automation, and reliable operations.
- Apply engineering principles across architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate globally, contribute to upstream projects, coach colleagues, and support a strong engineering culture.
- Participate in internal and external events, with global travel of up to 10% of the time.
Requirements
- Strong professional software engineering experience with particular expertise in Python development.
- Practical knowledge of Linux and networking, plus a solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
- Strong engineering judgment involving software quality, correctness, testing, documentation, performance, and maintainability.
