Job Description Summary
Design, develop, and test software for digital energy transmission and distribution products and services.
Applications support utility customers in managing reliable, safe, and economical power delivery.
The role requires mastery of theoretical knowledge and a strong foundation in relevant technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced software functions against corporate project and product commitments.
- Complete software specifications, design, coding, testing, integration, customer testing, and delivery.
- Write functional software designs and ensure system criteria are met.
- Consult with technical leads on project-related system design guidelines.
- Provide input on schedules and cost estimates.
- Interface with customers on functional issues.
- Support marketing proposals and demonstrations.
- Follow quality assurance standards throughout software development.
Education and Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university in Power Systems or an equivalent field.
- Excellent programming skills in C++ or other related languages as required.
