Role overview
Join Arista Networks’ Engineering Productivity team to maintain and support expanding infrastructure and internal users.
Design, build, and administer secure, scalable, fault-tolerant tools and infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment.
Support systems used by product development teams for CI/CD, testing, analysis, and visualization.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and operate critical production systems with focus on scalability, reliability, observability, performance, and security.
- Monitor services, improve developer experience, automate operational toil, and enhance alert handling.
- Create incident-response runbooks, write postmortems, and implement solutions that prevent recurring incidents.
- Triage platform issues, support software engineers, and engage third-party vendor support.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks, design infrastructure solutions, and implement scaling, fault tolerance, and performance improvements.
Essential qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering plus 5 years of experience, a master’s degree plus 5 years, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of Go, Python, or shell scripting for medium-complexity automation workflows.
