Role overview
The Advisory Systems Engineer is part of the Sales Engineering team and works with large public sector accounts.
The role combines technical advisory, customer success, lifecycle adoption, and revenue influence.
The engineer acts as a trusted advisor rather than the primary implementation resource.
Customer advisory
- Position Arista products across data center, campus, routing, AI, and computer vision environments to expand account footprints.
- Provide technical support for new opportunities and proof-of-concept testing.
- Guide customers through operational health checks, compliance reviews, and automation maturity assessments.
Automation and optimization
- Assist with deploying and integrating CloudVision, APIs, and automation toolsets.
- Support customer workflows for monitoring, telemetry, and provisioning.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities using Arista's open, programmable platforms.
Technical leadership
- Deliver advanced workshops on automation, CI/CD, CloudVision, and AVD.
