Site Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works and ensure execution follows approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submissions, RFIs, and technical queries.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, architectural, mechanical, contractor, and subcontractor teams.
• Conduct inspections, identify non-conforming works, and verify quality and workmanship.
• Monitor testing and commissioning, inspection requests, site observations, NCRs, and snagging activities.
• Monitor contractor progress, provide technical recommendations, and attend coordination and progress meetings.
• Review as-built drawings and relevant project close-out documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in construction or site supervision.
• Strong experience in building construction projects.
• Knowledge of LV systems, lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, earthing, and related electrical installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Dubai authority requirements and applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, independent working, and site management abilities.
• UAE experience and consultancy experience are preferred or advantageous.
