Role Overview
Target Engineering Consultants is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer for its project team in Dubai South, Dubai.
The role covers project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder coordination to support delivery within approved timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare baseline programs, recovery programs, and revised schedules.
- Monitor actual progress against approved programs and identify delays, critical activities, and schedule risks.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, and schedule updates.
- Collect and verify progress information from site and project teams.
- Review contractor programs and schedule updates.
- Monitor critical paths, milestones, and contractual completion dates.
- Analyze the effects of delays, variations, and design changes on schedules.
- Assist with Extension of Time claims and delay analysis.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, and consultant teams.
- Attend progress and coordination meetings and provide planning updates.
- Recommend recovery measures and maintain accurate planning and project-control records.
