Role Overview
Target Engineering Consultants is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Document Controller for its project team in Dubai South, Dubai, UAE.
The role manages project documentation, records, document workflows, approvals, revisions, and distribution for a construction consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage project documentation and records, including receipt, distribution, filing, registers, and tracking.
- Manage drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, inspection requests, method statements, NCRs, and correspondence.
- Ensure documents are numbered, dated, approved, distributed, and maintained in current revision.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems and use the project document management system to upload and track documents.
- Track approvals, comments, document status, transmittals, and transmission records.
- Coordinate documentation with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Follow up on outstanding documents and approvals and assist project management with reports.
- Support project close-out and handover documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information management, or a related field.
