Position overview
Service Sales Engineer position with OTIS in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
The role combines technical and commercial sales operations for elevator and escalator service contracts.
Core responsibilities
- Provide management information and insights on work-area performance for periodic and ad hoc decision-making.
- Follow departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
- Review customer contracts and book them on internal systems according to policy.
- Estimate materials required to deliver contracts against tender specifications.
- Review project specifications and identify supply sources from OTIS factories.
- Coordinate with factories, sales teams, and design engineers to gather technical and commercial cost information.
- Prepare estimation price lists covering material, labor, duties, fees, tools, transportation, and other project requirements.
- Calculate margins and safe buffers for sales propositions.
- Order material releases according to approved drawings.
- Maintain salesman records and contracting activities through the E-Logistic tool.
- Record and archive contract terms and conditions according to defined processes.
- Review monthly reports and identify trends or metrics requiring further analysis.
