Role Overview
The General Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the assigned OTIS service branch in Qatar.
The role covers field operations, sales, administration, portfolio growth, and efficient customer service delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Align branch financial and strategic planning with Otis Middle East business objectives.
- Implement branch development plans, coordinate new product and service launches, and streamline internal processes.
- Monitor branch operations and administration to maximize efficiency, productivity, and customer service standards.
- Support equipment and service sales leads, seek opportunities, and maintain client relationships.
- Build a service-oriented and performance-driven culture and achieve branch service quality targets.
- Ensure field operations meet service quality and EH&S standards.
- Implement customer service improvement initiatives across customer touchpoints.
- Direct complaint handling and resolve escalated customer issues.
- Lead change initiatives supporting improved operational processes and procedures.
- Develop a talent pipeline and mentor high-potential team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or an equivalent field.
- Relevant certification such as Certified Construction Manager, Construction Project Management, or an equivalent is preferred.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience managing operations in a construction or engineering organization.
