Role Overview
Create and implement a quality control and assurance program for elevator and escalator project worksites in Makkah.
Inspect products, define field operational processes, and manage unit testing with the client’s inspection team before handover.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality evaluation, control, and field-operation standards for materials, products, and activities.
- Review quality requirements for manufacturing plans, supplier purchase orders, and engineering specifications.
- Plan and conduct testing, inspections, process control, and process improvement activities.
- Perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and maintain operational quality metrics.
- Maintain the quality system through internal audits and coordinate best-practice deployment with client and global Otis quality teams.
- Prepare and deliver quality training, participate in audits, and update safety procedures when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least three years of relevant engineering operations experience in the vertical transportation industry.
- Certified Quality Engineer certification or an equivalent certification is preferred.
Workplace
- The role is based at Otis Elevator Company Saudi Arabia Ltd in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves physical presence at major project worksites.
