Role Overview
The company is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer who can work across component libraries, stakeholder presentation, design, and engineering collaboration.
The role connects design and engineering and requires understanding how designs are built and implemented.
Design System and Product Design
- Own and evolve scalable design-system components, tokens, documentation, and governance.
- Design end-to-end user experiences across the core product suite from early concepts to pixel-perfect specifications.
- Audit component consistency, identify gaps, and deprecate components that no longer serve the product.
- Work with product managers and researchers to simplify complex financial workflows into trustworthy experiences.
Handover and Collaboration
- Lead precise developer handover by documenting interaction states, edge cases, and responsive behavior.
- Partner with frontend engineers to establish shared standards and language between design and code.
- Contribute to design critiques and help grow design culture.
- Mentor mid-level designers on the team.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, including at least 2 years working in or leading a design system.
- Deep hands-on Figma expertise covering variables, auto layout, component architecture, and multi-brand theming.
- Proven track record of effective developer handover and understanding of engineering needs.
- Solid understanding of how components are built in code, without requiring the ability to write code.
- Experience with regulated or data-heavy products such as fintech or banking is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- A portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and strong visual craft.
