Position Overview
- The Senior Specialist Receiving plays a crucial role in distribution center operations by overseeing and optimizing receiving processes.
- Ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established procedures.
Receiving Operations
- Oversee all aspects of receiving operations including unloading, sorting, and processing inbound shipments.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of received shipments, including updating inventory records.
Team Leadership
- Supervise team members, providing guidance in receiving operations, fostering efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with other warehouse departments such as inventory control, warehouse operations, and quality control to ensure efficient receiving of products.
Performance Monitoring
- Ensure monitoring of receiving operations to maintain a high level of operational efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements in the receiving area.
