Role Overview
A partner company is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test based in India.
The role supports high-reliability systems and large-scale digital infrastructure.
The position combines software engineering, test automation, systems knowledge, and continuous improvement.
Accountabilities
- Develop comprehensive system test plans that provide strong coverage for reliable software releases.
- Design, develop, and deploy automated system tests for realistic production scenarios and complex system behaviors.
- Improve testing methodologies, frameworks, and procedures for greater efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
- Review product and system requirements to validate test plans, test cases, and quality strategies.
- Collaborate with software engineers, technical stakeholders, and international cross-functional teams.
- Investigate technical challenges in distributed systems and their web and console interfaces.
- Guide and mentor less experienced engineers on scalable and high-quality testing solutions.
- Research emerging testing technologies, tools, and infrastructure practices.
- Evaluate opportunities to improve the engineering process and test infrastructure.
