Senior Site Architect

Role Overview

Key Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of overall architectural experience.
• Minimum six years of UAE experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience with architectural consultancy firms.
• Proven experience in high-rise buildings and large-scale developments.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Good understanding of UAE building regulations, authority requirements, codes, and construction standards.
• Strong coordination experience with clients, contractors, consultants, MEP, structural teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for architectural site activities and project coordination.
• Manage architectural works from design development and coordination through construction and handover.
• Review and coordinate design drawings, working drawings, shop drawings, IFC drawings, material submissions, samples, and technical documents.
• Prepare, review, and modify architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Review contractors' shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, technical submissions, and samples.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, interior, landscape, and other disciplines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, quality, dimensions, finishes, materials, and compliance with approved drawings.
• Identify design discrepancies, technical issues, and site constraints and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Monitor architectural works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and project standards.
• Lead technical coordination, site, progress, and client or consultant meetings when required.
• Manage snagging, de-snagging, testing, inspection, final completion, handover, and close-out documentation.

Software and Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required.
• The role requires the ability to review and coordinate BIM models and architectural documentation.
• The role requires good understanding of architectural detailing and construction documentation.

Preferred Project Experience

• Preferred project experience includes high-rise towers, large-scale residential developments, commercial buildings, mixed-use developments, hospitality projects, luxury villas, and large-scale master developments.
• UAE consultancy experience and strong high-rise or large-scale project experience are mandatory.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 20,000 to AED 25,000 per month.

Workplace

• The role involves architectural site activities, inspections, construction coordination, and physical project-site work.
