Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments, threat hunts, code and log reviews, penetration testing and continuous monitoring improvements.
• Design, implement, optimize and monitor security controls and tooling across endpoints, infrastructure and application CI/CD pipelines.
• Own security incident response from detection through containment, remediation and post-incident review.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on reviews, guidance, SDLC security integration and automation.
• Join customer-facing technical and security discussions as a trusted security point of contact.
• Support compliance initiatives and customer security requirements for SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, GDPR, HIPAA and emerging AI regulations.

Key Skills and Experience

• At least 7 years of information security experience, ideally involving application or infrastructure security.
• Solid understanding of security principles and architectures, including threat modelling and secure system design.
• Experience building, testing and deploying security solutions that automate complex processes.
• Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, including cloud-native infrastructure and services security.
• Working knowledge of SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM and SAST/DAST tools.
• Scripting or programming proficiency for automation and security tooling; Python is preferred.
• Experience embedding security within the SDLC and translating security requirements into engineering-aligned solutions.
• Exposure to AI and agentic systems, including AI security governance and agentic architecture patterns.
• Experience in complex enterprise-scale environments and knowledge of network security fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS and routing.
• Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CCSP or GIAC are a plus.
