Role Overview
The Senior AI Engineer will design, evolve, and deliver Opus’s end-to-end AI infrastructure.
The scope includes model serving, orchestration, prompt alignment, workflow intelligence, and agent systems.
The role supports reliable, clear, measurable AI performance and user experience.
The engineer will guide a UAE-based multidisciplinary team working across model pipelines, workflow representations, and agentic frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve high-performance AI serving and orchestration pipelines.
- Refactor systems for clarity, modularity, and maintainability.
- Improve runtime latency, reliability, and quality metrics across live AI features.
- Build observability and error-tracking layers to detect regressions before users are affected.
- Guide prompt and alignment strategies for consistent model behavior and semantic fidelity.
- Collaborate with product teams to meet quality, stability, and response-time targets.
- Uphold standards for performance, documentation, and code quality.
- Lead design reviews, incident analysis, and optimization cycles across Opus AI modules.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of machine learning engineering experience, ideally in a SaaS or product organization.
- Expertise in Python.
- Strong experience with real-time model serving, orchestration, and observability systems.
- Familiarity with LLM pipelines, workflow modeling, and agent-based AI frameworks.
- Experience deploying and optimizing inference pipelines for LLMs, computer vision, or similar APIs.
- Skills in monitoring, benchmarking, and system observability.
- Experience mentoring engineers and managing cross-functional delivery cycles.
- Ability to translate complex AI systems into reliable, scalable, high-quality user-facing products.
- Experience improving LLM response consistency and user-facing reliability.
- Chatbot or conversational AI experience is a bonus.
