Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control and Inspection of structural (civil) works in building construction projects
- Strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, including development and implementation of QA/QC plans and procedures
- Experience in Quality Auditing, including conducting internal audits, documenting findings, and driving corrective and preventive actions
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; advanced certifications in quality management are an advantage
- Proven experience in mid to large scale building construction within the GCC region, with knowledge of local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications, and engineering reports, and to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and compliance
- Effective communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and QA/QC software tools, along with familiarity with international standards such as ACI, AISC, BS

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site role for a Senior QA/QC Engineer – Structural (Civil) with building construction experience, based in Dubai. The role involves leading and implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures for structural works on building projects, including reviewing design documents, construction drawings, and material specifications. The Senior QA/QC Engineer will oversee inspections and testing activities, monitor site work for compliance with applicable codes and standards, and ensure that all structural works meet project quality requirements. Day to day tasks include preparing and updating QA/QC plans, managing non conformance reports, coordinating with project managers, consultants, and contractors, and conducting internal quality audits. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers and site staff on quality standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to risk assessments and corrective action plans.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control and Inspection of structural (civil) works in building construction projects.
- Strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, including development and implementation of QA/QC plans and procedures.
- Experience in Quality Auditing, including conducting internal audits, documenting findings, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; advanced certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO related, QA/QC engineer certification) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in mid to large scale building construction within the GCC region, with knowledge of local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
