Responsibilities
- Execute procurement activities across FMCG, fresh produce, grocery, and non food categories
- Source products from local and international suppliers based on quality, price, and availability
- Prepare and process RFQs, POs, and supplier documentation
- Maintain and develop relationships with approved suppliers and vendors
- Monitor supplier performance on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines
- Monitor stock levels and ensure continuous product availability
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations for replenishment planning
- Assist in price comparisons and market benchmarking
- Ensure proper filing of contracts, supplier agreements, and procurement records
- Work closely with Category Managers, Warehouse, Finance, and Sales teams
Requirements
- Experience in procurement for FMCG, fresh produce, grocery, and non food categories
- Ability to source products from local and international suppliers
- Experience with RFQs, POs, and supplier documentation
- Strong negotiation skills for pricing, rebates, and commercial terms
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement compliance

Role Overview
- The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for executing and supporting end to end procurement activities across food, fresh produce, FMCG, and non food categories.
- The role ensures cost effective sourcing, supplier performance management, and continuous product availability across all business units while supporting the Category Manager in achieving commercial and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute procurement activities across FMCG, fresh produce, grocery, and non food categories
- Source products from local and international suppliers based on quality, price, and availability
- Prepare and process RFQs, POs, and supplier documentation
- Support category sourcing strategy defined by Category Manager
- Maintain and develop relationships with approved suppliers and vendors
- Support onboarding of new suppliers including documentation and evaluation
- Monitor supplier performance (pricing, quality, delivery timelines)
- Assist in negotiation of pricing, rebates, and commercial terms
- Monitor stock levels and ensure continuous product availability
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations for replenishment planning
- Support demand planning based on sales trends and consumption data
- Assist in reducing overstock, wastage, and expiry related losses
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement for FMCG, fresh produce, grocery, and non food categories
- Ability to source products from local and international suppliers
- Experience with RFQs, POs, and supplier documentation
- Strong negotiation skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement compliance
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to 13k AED per month plus benefits
