Senior Manager - Cyber Security Engineers (Ref: 197823)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the validation strategy, roadmap, and daily operating model.
• Direct automated testing across cloud, infrastructure, AI applications, LLM use cases, and model supply chains.
• Manage threat-intelligence ingestion, coverage matrices, validation test cases, findings, remediation gates, reporting, and audit-ready evidence.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, risk, and technology teams to resolve material weaknesses.
• Keep first-line validation separate from second-line independent red teaming and challenge activities.

Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience in cyber security engineering, offensive security, adversarial validation, or comparable enterprise assurance functions.
• Success replacing periodic manual penetration testing with continuous or automated control validation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, infrastructure security, application delivery pipelines, and security testing automation.
• Experience with autonomous penetration-testing platforms and AI red-teaming tools.
• Experience aligning testing with the OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS.
• Experience operationalising threat intelligence into repeatable tests, workflows, and measurable service levels.

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of finding management, vulnerability prioritisation, remediation governance, and deployment approval controls.
• Ability to define security metrics, produce dashboards, and communicate technical risk to executives.
• Understanding of first-line and second-line responsibilities and independent red teaming boundaries.
• Ability to lead technical specialists, review evidence quality, set delivery expectations, and influence senior stakeholders.
• Financial services, banking, or other highly regulated environment experience is advantageous.
