Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with combined expertise across SAP EWM, MM, and PM.
The consultant will support managed-service clients and SAP ERP or S/4HANA projects, including brownfield implementations, production support, enhancements, and expansion work.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring independent requirements management, solution configuration, and ownership of issues through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the functional subject matter expert across SAP EWM, MM, and PM.
- Gather, understand, and challenge business requirements directly with clients.
- Translate requirements into appropriate SAP functional solutions.
- Configure and enhance SAP solutions across the relevant modules.
- Support warehouse, procurement, inventory, and maintenance processes.
- Manage production issues, bugs, change requests, and new requirements through resolution.
- Support SAP ERP and S/4HANA projects, including brownfield implementations and managed-service environments.
- Produce functional documentation and specifications.
- Work with the in-house development team when technical development is required.
- Lead client discussions and manage actions, issues, and delivery.
- Understand integration and dependencies across EWM, MM, PM, and the wider SAP landscape.
- Take accountability for assigned workstreams and drive issues through closure.
Required Experience
- Ideally 8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.
- Strong hands-on SAP EWM experience.
- Strong SAP MM functional experience.
- Strong SAP PM functional experience.
- Good understanding of end-to-end warehouse and inventory processes.
- Strong understanding of procurement and materials management processes.
- Experience with plant maintenance, maintenance planning, and asset-related processes.
- Experience in SAP ERP and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Experience across implementations, enhancements, and application or production support.
- Strong requirements gathering and functional configuration capability.
- Ability to independently manage client stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
The key requirement is genuine functional capability across EWM, MM, and PM rather than deep expertise in one module with limited exposure to the others.
