Senior DevOps Engineer

Role overview

Accountabilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent platforms.
• Deploy and operate Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Automate infrastructure, deployment, and development workflows.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for observability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Security teams on secure and compliant solutions.
• Investigate infrastructure and application issues across staging and production.
• Design new systems and technical solutions from the ground up.
• Independently drive open-ended projects from planning through completion.
• Contribute to DevOps standards, engineering practices, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a closely related role.
• Deep hands-on cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting code in production environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable tools.
• Strong Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting skills.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or comparable monitoring and logging technologies.
• Ability to architect systems and independently deliver ambiguous technical projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work the stated IST schedule and participate in rotational morning shifts.

Schedule

• Operational coverage is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
• Rotational morning shifts may be required.
