Role Overview
Join a Dubai-based real estate developer delivering premium residential, commercial, mixed-use, and hospitality developments.
Lead design management and help shape landmark developments from concept through completion.
Design Leadership
- Lead design development from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
- Align design solutions with project briefs, business plans, market positioning, and development objectives.
- Drive innovation and design excellence across projects.
Consultant Coordination
- Coordinate architects, interior designers, landscape architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants.
- Monitor consultant performance, deliverables, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Review technical submissions, reports, drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
Value and Compliance
- Challenge designs to optimize functionality, aesthetics, operational efficiency, value, and design intent.
- Conduct value engineering while maintaining project quality.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, RERA, building codes, and other authority requirements.
Delivery Support
- Assess design changes and their effects on cost, schedule, and project objectives.
- Support tendering, procurement, and construction phases through design management.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups.
- Resolve design-related issues arising during construction.
Candidate Profile
- Experience as a Design Manager or in a comparable design management role within real estate development.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design consultants.
- Knowledge of Dubai authority requirements, building codes, and relevant regulations.
