Role overview
A Tier 1 contractor is seeking a Draughtsman to join its team in Dubai.
The preferred background is construction or interior fit-out.
The role
- Produce plans, sections, details, specifications, and schedules in AutoCAD.
- Revise drawings to address client and consultant comments until approval.
- Survey sites and produce as-built drawings.
- Coordinate details across trades, including MEP, and issue shop drawings ready for execution.
- Support architects, project managers, and quantity surveyors with design information as projects progress.
- Work to drawing standards and check deliverables against specifications, including variations.
Requirements
- Four to eight years of AutoCAD experience, ideally in construction or interior fit-out.
- Diploma in Architecture.
- Strong construction and engineering detailing knowledge.
- BIM experience is an advantage.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Workplace
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE and includes site surveying activities.
