Role Overview
Partner company seeks a Senior Data Engineer - Data Platform based in India for a hands-on role building an AI-native data platform at massive scale.
The role combines data engineering, AI, analytics, and product work in a lean, highly autonomous environment.
The platform will transform billions of raw records into accurate, trusted B2B data for customers globally.
Accountabilities
- Architect and build scalable transformation, warehouse, and data-processing systems capable of handling billions of records across multiple markets.
- Design LLM-powered extraction, enrichment, entity-resolution, and semantic-validation patterns with structured outputs, retries, fallbacks, and reusable abstractions.
- Develop labelled evaluation datasets, scorers, judge calibration, regression suites, and measurable precision and recall targets for AI workflows.
- Set standards for choosing deterministic rules, SQL, data contracts, dbt tests, or LLM-based validation.
- Own dbt and Snowflake warehouse architecture, performance, clustering, materialization, access controls, and cost management.
- Build Airflow and AWS orchestration and infrastructure patterns with recovery, dependency management, scheduling, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Implement observability for model versions, prompts, costs, latency, decisions, and operational alerts.
- Develop matching, deduplication, embeddings, and retrieval solutions for entity resolution across company and people data.
