Responsibilities
- Prioritize ticketing queues, resolve escalations, and clear blocking issues for Inventory and Asset Management activities
- Provide task specific guidance to a team of technicians for incoming/outgoing deliveries and documentation
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including third party warehouses, OEM vendors, and suppliers
- Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high volume work activity or escalation based situations
- Leverage process knowledge and technical skills to resolve escalations and enable data center support activities
- Maintain stakeholder focus to improve quality and ensure customer return on investment
- Ensure teams maintain steps to keep inventory balance accurate
- Act as Subject Matter Expert about RMA warranty process
- Manage schedule of DBD destruction or shredding in partnership with senior leadership
- Attend, conduct, or assist in conducting daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with safety procedures
- Seek opportunities to contribute to workstreams and evolve processes toward simplification and automation
Requirements
- High School Diploma AND 3+ years experience warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or related field OR equivalent experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- 3+ year(s) experience in warehouse/supply chain in IT environment, IT, and/or logistics, operating heavy load movement equipment for a large corporation (preferred)

Overview
- As a Microsoft Senior Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT), you will prioritize and assign ticketed work, provide guidance on logistics tasks, and ensure inventory accuracy.

- Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 Data Centers in 32 countries.
