Senior Business Analyst (Air Cargo)

Location and Work Setting

• The role is based in Dubai, UAE, at a client site.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap, backlog, and priorities for cargo systems.
• Gather and define business requirements through process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design.
• Create and prioritize user stories and manage sprint activities through release.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure solutions are technically viable and aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Review acceptance criteria and deliverables and coordinate User Acceptance Testing.
• Oversee system enhancements, integrations, testing, and release activities across vendors and IT teams.
• Monitor product performance and KPIs and resolve business issues.
• Drive adoption through change management, documentation, and training.

Required Technical Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in business analysis and product ownership roles on operational systems.
• Strong aviation or air cargo domain knowledge is required.
• Hands-on experience with air cargo systems such as SkyChain, iCargo, Cargospot, or Croamis.
• Proven product ownership experience covering backlog management, requirement prioritization, and roadmap definition.
• Agile delivery experience including user story creation, sprint planning, UAT, and release management.
• Understanding of system integrations with customs, ERP, finance, and warehouse systems, plus data analysis and KPI reporting.
