Role Overview

Location and Work Setting

• The role is based at a client site in Dubai, UAE.
• The position requires comfort working onsite in a fast-moving operational environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary is AED 15,000–AED 17,000 per month.
• Benefits include a work visa, air tickets, medical insurance, gratuity, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities

• Own requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, prioritisation, traceability, and sign-off.
• Define passenger handling during disruptions with cross-functional airline stakeholders.
• Write functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Map disruption processes and PSS, DCS, voucher, and finance integrations.
• Define eligibility, entitlement, and compensation rules under passenger-rights regulations.
• Support solution design, vendor evaluation, UAT, business change, and go-live.
• Lead workshops and sign-offs and report progress, risks, and decisions to leadership.

Required Technical Skills

• Hands-on PSS and DCS experience, including passenger and flight data flows between the systems, is required.
• Expertise in airline disruption and passenger welfare management is preferred.
• Requirements engineering experience includes BRD/FRD, user stories, use cases, BPMN, and data mapping.
• Knowledge of IROPS and passenger-rights or compensation frameworks is required.
• Ability to specify PSS/DCS, notification, voucher/payment, and finance reconciliation integrations is required.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps and comfort with Agile or hybrid delivery are required.

Candidate Profile

• Candidates should have 5–8 years of business analysis experience, largely on airline or travel-domain systems.
• The role requires leading senior cross-functional stakeholders and driving decisions to closure.
• Candidates should communicate clearly, present to leadership, and write documentation that teams can build from.
• A structured and detail-oriented approach is needed for the operational environment.
