Responsibilities
- Provide tax advisory and transactional tax support on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, financings, real estate, and investment funds
- Help clients resolve disputes with tax authorities
- Develop knowledge of UAE tax matters and cross border transactions involving the UAE
- Manage projects ensuring timely delivery to high quality standards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Act as a source of advice to others, sharing knowledge and expertise
- Demonstrate financial awareness – attention to budgets and costs
Requirements
- 6 years or more of post qualification experience as a tax professional (lawyer or accountant)
- Experience gained within a top tier firm is preferred
- Strong academic background with excellent written communication and drafting skills
- Outstanding technical skills in UAE tax matters
- Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good working knowledge of tax principles associated with UAE tax matters

- Global Tax team leads on cross jurisdictional transactions for large corporations, institutional investors, and fund managers.
- One of the largest Tax teams of any international law firm with over 130 lawyers, economists, and accountants.
- Offers stand alone tax advisory service and transactional tax support.
- Helps clients resolve disputes with tax authorities and offers transfer pricing services.

- First rate tax professionals (lawyers or accountants) with 6 years or more of post qualification experience.

Working Hours
- 40 hours per week, 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required.
