- Work with Partners and M&BD Director to execute business plan supporting Riyadh office vision and strategy
- Develop and implement specific programs to achieve operational goals, innovation, and best practice
- Work with Finance, pricing team, and Legal Project Management to monitor financial performance and improve profitability
- Assist in implementing systems to assess workloads, oversee assignment allocation, and manage lawyer performance
- Develop and manage operational calendar for Riyadh office, setting agendas and tracking progress
- Ensure developments and progress are communicated internally and coordinate with internal comms team
- Maintain detailed understanding of relevant market drivers in the legal sector and practice markets
Requirements
- Prior experience (five years) in a professional services environment
- Prior law firm experience
- Understanding of the legal sector, legal products and drivers of the practice
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and networks
- Ability to influence across business functions without direct management responsibility
- IT literate especially Excel and PowerPoint

Role Overview
- The Practice Manager will work closely with the M&BD Director EMEA and Partners in Riyadh and Dubai, supporting the wider Middle East Practice Group.
- They will manage delivery of projects and goals identified in the Middle East business plan, EMEA business plan, and global strategic goals.
- They play a critical role in supporting new business and client development and profile raising initiatives in the Middle East and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and business planning: Work with Partners and M&BD Director to execute business plan and develop programs to achieve operational goals.
- Financial management: Work with Finance, pricing team, and Legal Project Management to monitor financial performance and improve profitability.
- Staffing and workload allocation: Assist in implementing systems to assess workloads, oversee assignment allocation, and manage lawyer performance.
- Office administration: Develop and manage operational calendar, set agendas, facilitate meetings, and track progress.
- Communications: Ensure developments are communicated internally and coordinate with internal comms team.
- Market awareness: Maintain detailed understanding of relevant market drivers in the legal sector and practice markets.
- Joining the dots between the Business Team supporting the office to reflect global strategy in all approaches.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience (five years) in a professional services environment.
- Prior law firm experience.
- Understanding of the legal sector, legal products and drivers of the practice.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and networks.
- Ability to influence across business functions without direct management responsibility.
- IT literate especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Gravitas, credibility, discretion, integrity, collaborative, strong project management, robust, flexible, analytical, strategic, creative, practical, and commercial.
Working Hours
- Sunday to Thursday, 42.5 hours per week. Additional hours may be required.
