Position Overview
The role is a Senior Accountant - Reconciliations assignment based in Dubai.
The assignment is expected to last 3 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end reconciliation of assigned GL accounts for AR or GL teams, including AR control, clearing, and accrual accounts.
- Prepare reconciliation dashboards, KPI reports, and management summaries highlighting key risks and exceptions.
- Coordinate with business, Treasury, Cash Application, GL, and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement within reconciliation activities.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of reconciliation methodologies and accounting controls.
- Sound knowledge of Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and financial-close processes.
- Experience analyzing high volumes of transactional data and identifying mismatch root causes.
- Proficiency in an ERP system such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, or Yardi.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and appropriate analytical or AI tools.
