AV Collaboration Engineer supporting enterprise meeting-room AV, video conferencing, collaboration, and unified communications systems.
Assignment duration is five months with a possible extension.
Workplace
- The role is based onsite at a client location in Dubai.
Core Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot enterprise AV, video conferencing, and collaboration systems using platform analytics, diagnostics, logs, and call-quality reports.
- Support Q-SYS/QSC systems, cameras, microphones, amplifiers, speakers, AV-over-IP endpoints, room controls, displays, signage, IPTV, and video walls.
- Support Apple iPad room controllers, Cisco calling systems, networking connectivity, ITSM processes, maintenance, testing, and service validation.
Required Technical Skills
- Cisco Webex room devices, Webex Control Hub, Cisco ThousandEyes, Microsoft Teams CQD, Call Analytics, call-quality reports, and CVI.
- Q-SYS/QSC, Shure and Cisco microphones, Bose audio, Cisco room devices, PTZ cameras, displays, signage, IPTV, video walls, and presentation systems.
- Apple iPad controllers, Logitech room schedulers, Qbic panels, Cisco CUCM, voice gateways, AudioCodes SBC, Jabber, and Expressway.
- Ethernet switching, VLANs, LAN/WLAN troubleshooting, endpoint connectivity, ITSM, preventive maintenance, QA/QC, acceptance testing, and service validation.
- AI-assisted AV/UC operations, health checks, alert and event correlation, reporting, and proactive issue detection are required; scripting or API integration is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent technical qualification or experience in AV, electronics, telecommunications, IT, networking, or a related discipline.
- AVIXA CTS/CTS-I, Cisco collaboration or Webex, Q-SYS/QSC, Shure, Microsoft Teams, ThousandEyes, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
