Job overview

Compensation and employment

• The salary is AED 5,000–7,000 per month depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
• The position is full-time and intended for immediate joining.
• Benefits and entitlements are provided according to UAE Labour Law and company policy.

Accounts receivable

• Manage the complete Accounts Receivable cycle.
• Prepare invoices and credit notes and monitor overdue balances.
• Prepare aging reports, reconcile customer accounts, record receipts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor driver-related receivables, deductions, installments, fines, and outstanding balances.
• Coordinate billing and collections with Operations and Customer Service.
• Prepare collection and outstanding reports for management.

Accounts payable

• Manage the complete Accounts Payable process.
• Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documents.
• Record invoices and expenses and process approved supplier and vendor payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain accurate vendor accounts and payment records.
• Monitor supplier balances, payment schedules, and expense classification.

General accounting

• Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with period-end closing, trial balances, financial statements, and management reports.
• Monitor expenses, record fixed assets, maintain depreciation schedules, and support fleet accounting.
• Ensure proper treatment of employee advances, expenses, and other company transactions.

Fleet accounting and analysis

• Record and reconcile vehicle-related expenses and transactions.
• Monitor fleet costs including fuel, Salik, Darb, ENOC, maintenance, insurance, registration, and operating expenses.
• Reconcile driver ledgers and booking revenue and cancellation-related transactions.
• Assist with fleet profitability and cost reports and allocate revenue and expenses to vehicles, departments, or cost centers.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, and cash flow and identify unusual transactions and financial risks.

Compliance and controls

• Ensure transactions comply with company policies and applicable UAE requirements.
• Maintain supporting documentation and follow internal controls and approval procedures.
• Assist internal and external audits with schedules and documents.
• Maintain confidentiality and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting experience.
• Strong accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
• Accounting software experience; Odoo is an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of bank, customer, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Analytical, accurate, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
