SmartChoice International GCC is seeking a driven IT Recruitment Consultant focused on acquiring new clients and generating new business opportunities.
The role is focused on securing new-logo accounts, building relationships with hiring managers, and creating recruitment opportunities across the US IT market.
The recruiter will develop a technology market and deliver specialists across software engineering, cloud, data, AI, and cybersecurity.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, target, and win new client accounts within the IT and technology market.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and cold calling.
- Engage with hiring managers, IT directors, heads of technology, and procurement teams.
- Arrange client meetings to understand hiring needs and workforce challenges.
- Negotiate terms of business, rates, and service agreements.
- Build a pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.
- Transition newly secured accounts to delivery and recruitment teams.
- Achieve and exceed new business revenue and activity targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
Required experience
- Previous experience in contract and permanent IT recruitment.
- Strong new business development and client acquisition skills.
- Confident communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven.
- Ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients.
