SAP Cutover Lead

Position summary

Cutover leadership

• Own the cutover strategy, integrated runbook, governance, sequencing, milestones, dependencies, readiness criteria, and go/no-go decisions.
• Lead mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, production cutover, go-live, stabilization, command-center operations, issue triage, and executive communication.
• Coordinate SAP, data, infrastructure, security, integration, business, and third-party activities across workstreams, sites, and geographies.

Data and business readiness

• Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, reconciliation, validation, sign-offs, and data-related defect tracking.
• Coordinate business readiness, downtime and transaction-freeze communications, post-deployment validation, and operational readiness.
• Partner with Change Management, Training, Communications, and Business Process teams to align organizational readiness with technical cutover.

Compliance and transition

• Align cutover activities with Healthcare and Life Sciences quality, regulatory, validation, traceability, and data integrity requirements.
• Coordinate hypercare transition, support handoffs, post-go-live issue ownership, exit criteria, and lessons-learned sessions.

Required experience

• At least 10 years of SAP or ERP transformation experience and at least 7 years leading complex SAP cutovers.
• At least 5 years with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC and three to five years managing full lifecycle SAP go-lives.
• Healthcare or Life Sciences industry experience is required.
• Experience with cutover plans, runbooks, readiness dashboards, mock cutovers, go/no-go governance, command centers, hypercare, and stabilization is required.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, risk management, and high-pressure delivery skills are required.

Preferred qualifications

• Regulated systems, GxP, Computer System Validation, data integrity, and regulatory compliance experience is strongly preferred.
• SAP Activate, SAP Solution Manager or Cloud ALM, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or RAID management experience is preferred.
• A related bachelor's degree, SAP certification, PMP, PRINCE2, and global or multi-site deployment experience are preferred or advantageous.

Workplace and compensation

• The position is identified as remote and the stated Canada-based starting compensation is CAD 60 to CAD 70 per hour.
