Salesforce Business Analyst - Remote Canada Role

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Administrators, and Developers to design and implement solutions.
• Analyze standard Salesforce functionality before considering custom development.
• Support release planning, sprint execution, and production deployments.
• Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and governance standards.
• Gather and document business requirements for projects and enhancements.

Stakeholder and Delivery Support

• Facilitate communication among IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
• Evaluate solution options and support projects and enhancements through production deployment.
• Provide Salesforce subject matter expertise and guidance to project team members.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle.
• Create quick reference guides, standard operating procedures, and other job aids for operational support turnover.

Required Experience

• At least 6 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
• At least 6 years of experience gathering requirements for a complete Salesforce project involving integrations.
• At least 6 years of experience writing business requirements and functional specifications.
• Ability to decompose complex business and data requirements into developer and stakeholder specifications.
• At least 3 years of experience with waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in insurance, the P&C sector, or Insurtech is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are preferred.
• A self-starting approach with minimal oversight is preferred.

Compensation

• The stated Canada compensation range is CAD 92,599 to CAD 126,324.
• Actual compensation depends on work location, experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
