Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections and identify hazards and unsafe practices.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and applicable safety requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and employee safety training.
- Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and safety reports.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor PPE use and safe working practices at the site.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety, and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and HSE documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Two to five years of experience as a Safety Officer is required.
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and workplace safety standards is required.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety procedures is required.
- Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and conduct site inspections effectively is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
- Construction or MEP project experience is preferred.
- UAE experience and immediate availability are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is up to AED 5,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person at the site.
