Job Summary
The QC Engineer oversees quality control activities in a marble processing and fabrication facility.
The role inspects raw materials, monitors production processes, and ensures finished marble products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products and materials.
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring instruments and testing equipment.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Identify, document, and report nonconforming products and processes.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action activities.
- Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
- Assist with quality audits and customer inspections when required.
- Ensure inspection and measuring equipment has valid calibration status.
- Follow company safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field is required.
- At least four years of experience as a QC Inspector in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or a related industry is required.
- Candidates must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Proficiency with vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and testing equipment is required.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection methods, and documentation requirements is required.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards is required.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication, and reporting abilities are required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
