The employer is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Retail Salesperson for a building materials trading business.
The role focuses on serving customers, selling building materials, and supporting order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve walk-in customers and understand their building material requirements.
- Promote and sell building materials and related products.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales.
- Maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and pending orders.
- Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate sales, customer, and transaction records.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Monitor product availability, pricing, and market trends.
Requirements
- Previous experience in building materials trading or sales is essential.
- Experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing sales role.
- Good knowledge of building materials and related products.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good negotiation and selling abilities.
- A valid driving licence is mandatory.
