Role Overview
Support restaurant employees and managers through hands-on human resources work across UAE hospitality operations.
The role focuses on people, recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, and building effective restaurant teams.
What You Will Do
- Recruit candidates by understanding restaurant positions, interviewing properly, and assessing job and culture fit.
- Build relationships with employees across front of house, back of house, bar, and management.
- Support managers with recruitment, performance, attendance, discipline, development, and team planning.
- Manage the employee journey from recruitment and offer letters through onboarding, probation, development, promotions, documentation, and offboarding.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, leave, attendance, trackers, reports, and HR systems.
- Coordinate employment documentation, visas, medicals, Emirates ID processes, and other HR or PRO requirements.
- Help ensure company procedures comply with UAE Labour Law.
- Stay present in restaurant operations and work flexibly when operational needs require it.
Who We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of human resources experience.
- Restaurant, hospitality, or F&B HR experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong recruitment and interviewing capability.
- Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and employment processes.
- Ability to recruit roles ranging from commis chefs and waiters to restaurant managers and head chefs.
- Strong organization and accuracy with documentation.
- Confidence communicating in English.
- Comfort working with HR systems, Excel, reports, and employee records.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and balance employee, manager, and business interests.
Workplace
- The role is based in person within restaurant operations in the UAE.
- Restaurant operations may require flexibility beyond a standard 9-to-5 schedule.
