Role Overview
BAKERIST Dubai is hiring a Barista who can prepare coffee efficiently and create positive guest experiences.
The role emphasizes coffee skills, clear English communication, social confidence, and positive energy during every shift.
Service Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee efficiently during high-volume service.
- Perform espresso calibration and extraction.
- Steam and texture milk and prepare latte art.
- Manage multiple orders during peak periods.
- Operate POS and cashiering processes.
- Coordinate guest hand-off and order communication.
- Interact with guests, make recommendations, and upsell appropriately.
- Maintain speed, cleanliness, and consistency during busy service.
- Support colleagues and create positive guest experiences.
Preferred and Additional Skills
- High-volume coffee shop experience is strongly preferred.
- Starbucks or other high-volume international coffee concept experience is a major advantage.
- Additional compensation may be considered for proven skills such as advanced latte art, specialty coffee, manual brewing, coffee training, guest engagement, sales and upselling, content, or social media.
- Special skills may be demonstrated during the recruitment process.
Requirements
- At least three years of barista experience is required.
- English language proficiency is required.
- The candidate should be comfortable with high-volume coffee production and organized bar flow.
- The candidate should be able to remain positive and professional during busy service.

- Additional compensation may be offered for valuable, proven skills based on their level and value.

- The work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
