Leads retail design projects across MEA from concept through execution.
Acts as the liaison between design, commercial, marketing, vendor, and construction teams.
Ensures retail environments reflect brand guidelines and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage retail design projects across MEA markets, including shop-in-shops, wall units, and gondolas.
- Revise 3D and technical drawings while respecting brand and retailer guidelines.
- Coordinate global validation for new permanent spaces and adaptations.
- Liaise with retailers regarding vendor packs.
- Manage local agencies and suppliers and ensure quality production and installation on schedule.
- Obtain store-opening documentation and installation permits within deadlines.
- Track budgets, negotiate costs, and keep projects within assigned budgets.
- Maintain timelines, identify risks, and propose delivery solutions.
- Maintain project trackers and report status, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising, marketing, commercial, and global retail teams.
Profile and Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent design, hand-sketching, and technical skills.
- Strong communication, creativity, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Designer or architect background with a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other CAD software.
- Knowledge of material properties, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes.
- At least 5 years of retail experience in perfumes and cosmetics or luxury retail.
- Experience working across multiple countries and managing external suppliers and retailers.
- English is mandatory; French and/or Arabic is a plus.
