About the Role
Anantara The Palm Dubai is seeking a Recreation Manager to oversee the Sports & Recreations department, ensuring high guest satisfaction through unique activities and safe operations.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of the Sports & Recreations department daily
- Create new, unique recreation activities drawing on local cultural and sporting offerings
- Position sports and leisure offering as a competitive advantage
- Ensure outsourced service providers are of good quality
- Lead implementation of health and safety codes in sports and leisure activities
- Take the lead on the Anantara Children program
- Train and assist in evaluation of attendants working with fitness programs
- Supervise instructors and associates helping with activities
- Monitor success of activity programs through participation and guest feedback
- Prepare yearly budget for department and drive revenues
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role at a luxury resort or hotel in the UAE
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication skills and guest engagement abilities
- Fluency in English
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or willing to obtain)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Create new, unique and interesting recreation activities

- Have complete knowledge of products and services offered by the hotel
- Lead implementation of all health and safety codes
- Take the lead on the Anantara Children program
- Ensure all activities are performed in a safe environment
- Train and assist in evaluation of attendants
- Supervise instructors and all other associates
- Monitor success of activity programs
- Prepare yearly budget for department and drive revenues
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role at a luxury resort or hotel in the UAE
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication skills and guest engagement abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
