About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare, execute, and present authentic high quality dim sum
- Prepare a wide range of handcrafted dim sum including dumplings, buns, rolls, and steamed/fried/baked items
- Produce fresh wrappers, fillings, and sauces using authentic techniques and premium ingredients
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, portioning, and presentation across all service periods
- Contribute to menu development, recipe standardization, and seasonal enhancements
- Manage daily mise en place, production planning, and service execution for the dim sum section
- Train and mentor junior kitchen chefs in dim sum techniques
- Organize all activities within the Restaurant Kitchen area ensuring safe and profitable operation
- Develop and maintain restaurant cuisine concepts and standards for food preparation and presentation
- Achieve department budget goals and minimize food cost through proper inventory and control systems
Requirements
- Expertise in preparing authentic dim sum including dumplings, buns, rolls, and steamed/fried/baked items
- Ability to produce fresh wrappers, fillings, and sauces using authentic techniques
- Experience in menu development and recipe standardization
- Knowledge of food safety and cost control in a premium dining environment
