Overview

  • Anantara Hotels & Resorts is a global luxury hotel and resort brand rooted in Thai culture.
  • Working closely with Senior Leaders, Regional Office and Marketing team to set up, establish and drive the resort's financial performance through innovative marketing and communication ideas.
  • Develop rapports with key media and international media agencies.
  • Responsible to build and develop the hotels' sales and marketing leadership in the geographic assignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy for the property.
  • Manage the brand, advertising and marketing, creative and media buying.
  • Maintain and direct all third party related agencies as per the resort's requirements.
  • Manage an effective e Communications and social media strategy to support the overall business objectives.
  • Identify potential sponsorship and promotional opportunities for the property and manage the strategic business alliances and relationships.
  • Monitor industry trends and keep senior managers appraised of the brand perceptions and any potential issues.
  • Liaise and meet regularly with individual property General Managers and Department Heads.
  • Effectively communicates with all levels, manage reports.
  • Be a Brand ambassador.
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, the marketing plan, business plan and financial plans.
  • Create and implement PR plans and set budgets that help promote room, food & beverage and spa.
  • Ensure dispatch and strong influx of relevant information to the key media.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent international degree in Marketing, Business or Commerce.
  • 8+ years of international marketing and communications experience.
  • Previous experience as Director of Marketing in a luxurious hotel/ resort brand.
