Role Overview

The Recovery and Sustainability Superintendent ensures safe and efficient execution of offshore campaigns and shutdown activities.

The role coordinates planning, preparation, execution, and closeout to minimize downtime and maintain production reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead offshore Recovery and Sustainability campaigns and shutdown activities while maintaining HSE compliance.
  • Support the Offshore Installation Manager with execution plans and work priorities.
  • Coordinate work packs, inspections, repairs, isolations, spading, readiness tracking, and contractor mobilization.
  • Manage contractor resources and ensure materials, equipment, consumables, and spare parts are available.
  • Review progress, provide daily reports, participate in coordination meetings, and maintain action trackers.
  • Compile campaign data, prepare closeout reports, capture lessons learned, and support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in oil and gas operations, shutdowns, campaigns, or maintenance activities.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical and piping construction and shutdown or campaign management processes.
  • Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project and good working knowledge of SAP CMMS.
  • Strong planning, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience

  • Offshore oil and gas experience.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
  • Experience with pressure vessel inspections, maintenance, and shutdown execution.
